Preparation & Expectations

For optimal results, our process is structured with attention to detail. Here’s what you need to know:

  • Safety Measures: For the safety of all, no residents or pets can be in the premises during the reglazing and for four hours post-application.
  • Pre-Work Preparation: Please fix any dripping faucets, and ensure that surfaces (bathtubs, sinks, countertops, etc.) are clean, dry, and cleared of any items.
  • Dust Management: Although we minimize dust, we recommend covering any items where residue may settle, including furniture, appliances, and food items. Cleaning of dust beyond the work area falls outside our responsibility.

On application day, our preparation team will handle everything from masking fixtures to sanding and priming the surfaces. Surfaces will be chemically etched and any imperfections repaired. The area will be protected with professional coverings to avoid overspray.

Following the setup, our sprayers, equipped with advanced ventilation and spraying gear, will apply a primer, the glaze, and a clear topcoat. This minimizes odor and ensures a quality finish. The area can be cleared and fixtures reinstalled after 24 hours.

After Care & Maintenance

To maintain the pristine condition of your newly glazed surfaces, follow these guidelines:

  • Curing Time: Avoid using or wetting the surface for the first 24 hours.
  • Careful Use: Do not let water pool on the surface. Avoid abrasive materials and harsh chemicals which can damage the glaze.
  • Chemical Awareness: Steer clear of products containing acids or bleaches, and avoid leaving metal objects on the surface to prevent rust.
  • Physical Care: Avoid using rubber bath mats and dropping sharp or heavy objects that could damage the finish.

Adhering to these instructions will ensure the longevity and beauty of your reglazed surfaces, keeping them as good as new for years to come.
